1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Naptown Hub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Naptown Hub is a community platform for Indianapolis that provides event discovery, job listings, civic accountability tools, and resource matching. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Marketplace & Services

Some services on the platform (such as creator tools or future offerings) are provided by independent third parties. Naptown Hub is not responsible for the performance or disputes arising from those services.

5. Content & Submissions

  • Users may submit events, jobs, and community content. Submissions are subject to moderation.
  • You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Naptown Hub a license to display it on the Platform.
  • Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or misleading.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

6. Third-Party Event Content

Naptown Hub aggregates publicly available event information from third-party sources for discovery purposes.

  • Event listings are sourced from public calendars (Visit Indy, Eventbrite, Do317, Mirror Indy, and others) and are linked back to original sources.
  • Naptown Hub does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party event information.
  • Users should verify event details (dates, times, prices, availability) directly with the event organizer before attending.
  • Naptown Hub is not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or ticket disputes - these are between you and the event organizer.

7. DMCA & Content Removal

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid takedown requests.

  • If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, contact us at wtgindy@gmail.com.
  • Include the URL of the content, your name and contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, and a statement of good faith belief.
  • We will respond to valid DMCA requests within 24 hours.
  • Event organizers may also request removal of their listings at any time.

8. AI-Powered Features

Naptown Hub uses AI algorithms for event recommendations, resource matching, and content organization. These features are informational tools and do not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice. Users should independently verify information before making decisions based on AI recommendations.

9. Civic Dashboard Disclaimer

The BlueLedger Civic Dashboard is a transparency and accountability tool. It:

  • Uses publicly available law enforcement data.
  • Contains synthetic officer profiles generated from aggregate statistics - these do not represent real individuals.
  • Is not affiliated with any government agency or law enforcement body.
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for any legal, employment, or safety decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Naptown Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to the Platform in the preceding 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.

11. Intellectual Property

The Naptown Hub name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Naptown Hub. You may not use these without written permission.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
