About NaptownHub
Local discovery with receipts
NaptownHub helps Indiana residents see what is actually happening near them on a map, in a daily briefing, and in a verified events catalog. We are a discovery layer: we organize public listings and send you to the source to take action.
Our mission
Make Indiana feel smaller in the best way: one place to find tonight's events, trusted local intel, and community resources with clear sourcing, no mystery content, and links that go somewhere real.
How we source events
Step 1
Start with official listings
We pull from venue calendars, tourism boards, universities, parks departments, and trusted local listings, not random scrapers.
Step 2
Verify before we show it
Each event needs a real date, Indiana location, and a working link back to the organizer or ticketing page.
Step 3
Summarize in our own words
We extract facts (who, when, where, price) and write a short original summary. We do not copy long descriptions from other sites.
Step 4
Route you to the source
Every card links out so you can buy tickets, RSVP, or confirm details on the organizer's site.
Partners & community impact
We collaborate with organizations that strengthen Indiana's creative, civic, and economic fabric. These partners do not control our editorial choices; they help us reach more residents with verified local information.
Founder
Eric Raymond
Eric built NaptownHub after seeing how hard it was to answer a simple question: “What's actually going on near me tonight?” Event listings were scattered across dozens of sites, intel was buried in social feeds, and too many aggregators copied content without linking back to organizers.
NaptownHub is his answer: a map-first, source-backed platform for Indiana, starting in Indianapolis and expanding across the state, with transparent sourcing, outbound links on every listing, and tooling for creators and community members who want to share what they find.
Based in Indianapolis. Building in public for Indiana residents first.
